neurosleek ("neurosleek," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we do — and, more importantly, do not — collect from visitors, how it may be used, and the choices available to you. We are based in, and this Site is operated from, the State of Texas, United States, and this Policy is written to comply with applicable U.S. and Texas law, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).

Information We Do Not Collect

By design, this Site does not run visitor analytics, does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and does not maintain a server-side database of visitor identities. We do not collect names, email addresses, IP address logs, or browsing behavior from people who simply view the Site. A small piece of data — a visit counter used only to show an occasional, non-identifying message — is stored locally in your own browser (via localStorage) and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

WhatsApp Communications

Certain features on this Site let you compose a personal note and open it in WhatsApp, addressed to yourself or to someone you choose. That message is composed entirely on your device and handed off directly to WhatsApp — it never passes through, or is stored in, any database or server belonging to neurosleek. We have no record of, and no access to, the content, recipient, or delivery status of any WhatsApp message sent this way.

XChat — Our Official Contact Channel

If you choose to contact us, the only channel we operate and recognize as official is XChat, accessible via x.com/neurosleek. We consider communication through this channel secure and treat any information you voluntarily share with us there — such as your handle and the content of your messages — as confidential, used solely to respond to you and never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We are not responsible for messages sent through any other channel, including third-party pages or accounts falsely claiming to represent neurosleek.

Third-Party Services

The Site hands off certain actions to WhatsApp and X (opening a pre-filled message or post in those apps) and loads fonts from Google Fonts and page animation from the GSAP library's content delivery network. These requests are made from your browser; neurosleek does not send personal or identifying information about you as part of them. Use of these third-party services is subject to the respective providers' own privacy practices.

Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The Site uses your browser's local storage only to remember two things on your own device: how many times you've visited (used solely to show an occasional message) and, if you choose to set one, a short "purpose" note you write for yourself. Neither value ever leaves your device or reaches neurosleek.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate a visitor database in the first place, no such information is retained.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or other applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal data is held about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of certain processing. Because neurosleek does not collect or store personal data about Site visitors as a matter of course, there is generally nothing to request — the exception being anything you have voluntarily shared with us via XChat, which you may ask us to delete at any time by contacting us there.

Data Security

Because visitor data isn't collected or stored server-side, there is no visitor database to secure or breach. Any voluntary correspondence with us through XChat is protected by X's own platform security, and we take reasonable care in how we handle anything shared with us that way.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Site or in applicable law. The "Effective date" above will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

By visiting or using this website (the "Site"), operated by neurosleek ("we," "us," or "our") from Texas, United States, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

What This Site Is

This Site is a personal portfolio and worldline instrument: it displays neurosleek's work (visual identity, book covers, and website projects) alongside a live "Replay" experience that walks through the time elapsed since neurosleek's origin and closes with a single prompt — "What is your purpose?". Nothing on the Site requires an account, a purchase, or the submission of personal information to view.

The Replay Prompt and Purpose Feature

When you reach the purpose prompt, you may choose to write a short note and, at your own initiative, either:

• Answer it yourself — send the note to your own WhatsApp number, or
• Dedicate it to someone — send the note to a WhatsApp number you provide, or
• Post the note publicly on X, under your own X account.

These actions are performed entirely by your device and your own WhatsApp or X account — clicking the corresponding button opens WhatsApp or X with your text pre-filled so that you choose to send or post it. neurosleek does not transmit, store, or have visibility into the content of your note, any phone number you enter, or whether a message was ultimately sent. You are solely responsible for the content you write and for having the right to contact any phone number you provide — do not use this feature to contact someone who has not consented to receive a message from you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Site to harass, spam, or contact anyone without their consent; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Site's code or interactive features; or misrepresent your affiliation with neurosleek, including by impersonating our official channel, x.com/neurosleek.

Third-Party Services

The Site links out to, and hands off content to, third-party services — WhatsApp and X — that we do not own or operate. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy practices, not ours, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct.

Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, the "neurosleek" wordmark, the "neurosleek — noir" mark, and the portfolio pieces displayed are the property of neurosleek or the respective clients/publishers credited, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our prior written permission.

No Warranty

The Site, including the elapsed-time calculations and every interactive feature, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Elapsed-time figures and other on-page calculations are computed in your browser and may be delayed or temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas and U.S. law, neurosleek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including anything you choose to send or post through the purpose feature.

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones (if any) this site uses, and the choices available to visitors — with particular reference to the rules that apply to visitors in the European Union / European Economic Area under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended by 2009/136/EC) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We are not a lawyer and this page is not legal advice; it's a plain description of our own practices.

1. What counts as a "cookie" here

A cookie is a small text file a website can ask a browser to store and send back on later visits. EU rules treat cookies and functionally similar technologies — local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, device fingerprinting — the same way for consent purposes: anything not strictly necessary for the service the visitor asked for needs informed, opt-in consent before it's set.

2. What this site actually sets

This site does not set cookies. It uses browser local storage, purely on-device, to remember two things: a rough visit tally used to show an occasional message, and — if you choose to set one — a short "purpose" note you write for yourself. 4. Third-party resources

Pages on this site load a small number of external resources — font files and animation libraries — directly from their providers' content delivery networks. These transfers can expose your IP address to those providers as an ordinary consequence of how the web works, in the same way requesting any file from a server does. We haven't configured any of them to set cookies, and we don't control whether a given provider's infrastructure does so independently; check the relevant provider's own policy if you want specifics.

5. Your choices

Because no non-essential cookies are set, there is no cookie banner or consent toggle on this site — there is nothing optional to opt into.
